Format

At Cerler, open upper slopes contrast with winding forest runs above the Benasque valley. Shape the day around different summits and sectors, returning to favourite descents as you understand the snow. The two main entrances, Cerler 1500 and Ampriu, suit different accommodation, lesson and terrain choices. It works well for a group combining learning with varied piste skiing. Keep some energy for longer descents: an impressive panorama at the top does not remove the fatigue of the final kilometres back towards the base.

Before your trip

  • Match Cerler 1500 or Ampriu with equipment hire and ski-school meeting points.
  • Check Gallinero and the connecting lifts before planning a large circuit.
  • Tackle long descents with energy in reserve and expect snow to change with elevation.

Seasons are planning guidance. The local team confirms actual conditions, restrictions and whether the activity can run.
