Explore the route

This foothill route climbs from the Ésera gorge towards the Olvena viewpoint. Rocky gullies give way to bridges and a more exposed ridge. At a junction, you can leave towards the hermitage or continue across the Tibetan bridge to the harder finish with a small overhang.

Visiting conditions

The tourism page describes the re-equipped K2 route with two bridges. Older bridge-free descriptions and former closure notices are outdated.

A directory entry does not mean a route is open. Check the forecast, trailhead access and the managing organisation’s notices. Times are estimates; snow, heat and your group’s pace affect difficulty.
