Before you visit
Camping & bivouacs
The park’s visitor guidance requires permission for more than three tents. Following the May 2026 management-plan update, confirm the place and conditions for any intended overnight camp with mediambient@comumassana.ad. A smaller group is not automatically permitted in every zone.
Official sourceFire & cooking
Guidance prohibits fire without specifying stove conditions. Confirm these before departure: mediambient@comumassana.ad.
Official sourceDogs
Dogs must be on a lead, as confirmed by the official notice of 27 July 2026.
Official sourceAccess & parking
The park directs drivers through Arinsal to the CS-530 and visitor parking; bus L5 reaches Arinsal square. Unauthorised vehicles cannot enter the park. In winter check snow, avalanche forecasts and the selected approach.
Official sourceActivities & restrictions
The notice of 27 July 2026 confirms that bicycle access and circulation are prohibited throughout the park. Swimming in all park lakes is also prohibited; briefly cooling the feet is allowed. Do not extrapolate these rules to neighbouring Andorran areas.
