Camping & bivouacs
High mountain camping requires an altitude above 1,600 m and more than two hours’ walk from public vehicle access, from sunset to sunrise. This does not permit roadside camping; check the chosen sector.

Motor vehicles must use public-access roads and obey signs. Sleeping in vehicles is limited to the designated legal campsites.
