Camping & bivouacs
The order of 4 July 2025 allows lightweight bivouac only in the marked Aubert and Orédon areas: one night, pitched after 19:00 and removed before 09:00. Elsewhere in the reserve it is prohibited; the national park’s one-hour-from-road rule does not apply.

Dogs are not admitted to the reserve, even on a lead. Do not apply exceptions from particular paths in the neighbouring national park.

Summer daytime access to Aubert is regulated, with a shuttle from Orédon. Confirm current hours, parking and bus operation before travel; lake roads may close in winter. A tour of the wider massif does not always remain within the reserve.

MTB is prohibited in the reserve. Follow paths without cutting through vegetation or along fragile shores; water activities have a separate prohibition.
