How to choose

Paragliding reveals ridges, wooded slopes and the shape of a valley from the air. The pilot flies a tandem, but your participation at launch and landing matters too. Duration and launch slope depend on conditions; a scenic flight and an acrobatic programme are not interchangeable.

  • Confirm launch and landing requirements, footwear and clothing.
  • Check transport to the launch and the meeting point with the pilot.

Paragliding over Àger valley

Àger lies below the Montsec range in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees. Local schools offer tandem flights over the valley, with passenger and pilot sharing one wing. Val d’Aran: hike to fly

Aran Parapent offers a Val d’Aran experience that begins on foot in the mountains. A walking approach leads to the launch, followed by a tandem flight with a pilot. The outing combines the effort of climbing with a new view of the valley from the air. It suits an active mountain trip and participants able to carry the equipment agreed with the organiser.
